Rvk africa fashion week that took place on the 11 and 12 September, in the beautiful city of tshwane, it was not only about designers who came from all parts of africa but also a chance for young talented models to travel to other parts of africa. Almost 4 models were selected to attend mercedes bens africa fashion festival in Ghana, one of the models who got select is Boitumelo Geraldine Mokwena .on an interview boitumelo said "I felt it was an unexpected ,I felt all kind of emotions that one feels ,overwhelming overjoyed.....and happy .to add on her trip to Ghana boitumelo said "this will help brand myself as a young south African this oppoturnity of me going to Ghana will expand my capabilities of being an aspiring young Major model,tour Africa and get to know more about my African roots and modelling and fashion infused that in me.
Talking to Gideon Raji the ceo of Mercedes bens africa fashion festival who attended the event all the way from ghana, he said ..our mission is to make sure these young models they become not only top models but also good leaders for africa. Some of the designers who showcased at the rvk africa fashion week wer mary martin from londong, nelly donga from malawi, eldoti from ghana, vhoni couture from rsa, kutowa from zambia, beth sante from ghana , ankara from kenya and many more.
